What We Do

SHO-TAI® is a combination of a few different methods and techniques; such as reading the eyes, reading the tongue and an advanced muscle test, to help determine the body’s levels of health.

SHO-TAI®  is a means by which a qualified practitioner uses the client’s reflexes to determine the root of a health problem.

A deficiency in physical, nutritional or structural areas could cause or contribute to various acute or chronic health problems.

What to expect during your appointment

Sho-Tai or Muscle Testing is gentle way for your practitioner to examine your health. You are not required to remove any clothing for your examination. During the test, the practitioner will verbalize what they are finding, they may ask you questions about your health or health habits to have a better understanding of their findings.

With the same pressure as someone sensing your pulse, the practitioner will test specific pressure point that correlate with different organs in the body. They will also examine your skin, eyes, and tongue during your assessment. During your appointment, you are welcome to ask as many questions about the process or the findings. At the end of the appointment, you will receive a summary of the practitioners findings and suggestions for natural remedies, food choices, and vitamins or herbal supplements.

A Sho-Tai practitioner is not a registered health care professional, so they cannot diagnose or prescribe anything. If you are unsure if their suggestions are right for you, check with your doctor first.

Your first appointment may last up to 60 minutes, depending on how many questions you have. A return visit can last anywhere from 30-45 minutes depending on recent health changes or how long it has been since your last visit.

What to bring to your appointment

Sho-Tai practitioners ask that you bring any supplements, herbal products, or vitamins that you are currently taking to your appointment. You are welcome to bring medications prescribed by your doctor as your herbal supplements may interfere with what you are taking.
